2009 EASTERN BUCKEYE CRAPPIE CLUB TOURNAMEMENT RULES
ALL ANGLERS MUST PAY THE $20 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP BEFORE FISHING ANY EVENTS
All anglers will obey all ODNR rules and regulations as well as any State, County or Lake regulations as well as any size limits or Creel on any particular lake. All angler also will not hold the E.B.C.C., ODNR, State of Ohio or any attributing association liable for any accidents, damages, or injuries that may occur during any our these events
1. These will be team events though an angler may fish alone if if they wish.
2. They must fish from a boat. All waters must be accessible from normal boat
propulsion. If one member leaves the boat, all angling will cease till he/she
re-enters the boat.
3. The Director may cancel the tournament in the event of hazardous weather.
The event will be rescheduled or monies refunded.{it is the teams responsibility to find out}
4. Sign up will begin @ 7:15am and end @ 7:45am if possible leaving 15 minutes
to board boats and be ready for 8:00 launch unless otherwise stated in schedule.
No lines shall enter water before 8:00am,
5. No alchohol or illegal drugs will be permitted, PERIOD.
6. A total of 10 fish will be weighed in. All fish must measure 9 inches or size limit of the lake being fished. All fish must be alive when entering sign-in line. Any short or dead fish will be a .5 lb penalty. The weigh-in open at 3:00pm.
7. All fish must be hooked inside the mouth.
8. Live and artificial baits may be used.
9. In case of tie, big fish will determine winner.
10.Any protest must be in writing and received by 5:00pm the day of the event. All teams will be subject to a polygraph and/or voice stress test. If any team members fails or refuses will forfeit all winnings and entry fees and the right to compete in any further events of the E.B.C.C..
11. All local, State, and ODNR laws and rules will be OBEYED.
12. All teams must be checked in by 4:00pm . Late teams will be docked 1/2 pound per each 5 minute period after 4:00pm
13. In the Big Slab pot, The winning slab will be decided by LENGTH, In Case of a tie, The heavier fish shall win.
14. All live-wells will be open for inspection before all events and will be inspected before launch by an appointed member of the E.B.C.C.
15. There will be no participating anglers on the lake 8 hours prior to any event. No participating anglers will communicate with any other anglers by phone or other devices. there will be a 50 ft distance rule enforced from any other anglers in a boat or on shore participating in event or not. Emergencies will be taken into consideration by director. Anyone caught cheating will forfeit all membership or entry fees. And also will no longer partipate in any E.B.C.C. Events.
During the 15 minute pre-launch will be the time to express any questions.
There will be no exceptions for not obeying rules of this events.
